Welcome to SRX Ebikes.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the SRX Ebikes website and your purchase of products from our online store.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About SRX Ebikes

SRX Ebikes is an online retailer specialising in electric bicycle conversion products, including electric motors, conversion kits, batteries, controllers, displays, throttles and related accessories.

Products may be supplied and shipped directly from third-party fulfilment partners located in Germany.

Although products may be shipped directly by a supplier or fulfilment partner, the customer purchases the product from SRX Ebikes.

2. Products

Our products include electric bicycle conversion components with power ratings ranging from approximately 500W to 12,000W.

Product specifications, images, dimensions, performance figures and availability may vary between products and manufacturers.

Performance figures such as maximum speed, range, power and battery capacity are estimates and depend on factors including:

• rider weight;
• bicycle configuration;
• terrain;
• weather;
• tyre pressure;
• riding style;
• battery condition;
• controller settings;
• motor configuration;
• electrical losses.

We do not guarantee that a particular product will achieve a specific speed, range or performance level unless expressly stated as a guaranteed specification.

3. Conversion Kits

Conversion kits are components intended to convert or modify bicycles.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, SRX Ebikes does not provide bicycle installation services.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the selected components are compatible with their bicycle.

Customers should verify compatibility of:

• frame;
• forks;
• wheels;
• dropout width;
• brakes;
• drivetrain;
• battery mounting location;
• electrical connectors;
• controller;
• motor;
• battery voltage;
• other electrical components.

For high-power systems, professional installation is strongly recommended.

4. Installation

Incorrect installation of an electric motor, controller or lithium-ion battery can result in serious injury, fire, property damage or damage to the product.

Customers must follow all manufacturer installation instructions.

Customers must not modify, open or tamper with lithium-ion batteries or battery-management systems unless specifically authorised by the manufacturer.

SRX Ebikes is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, wiring, modification or use of incompatible components, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

5. Legal Use

The legality of an electric bicycle conversion depends on the jurisdiction in which the bicycle is used.

A product being available for purchase from SRX Ebikes does not mean that the resulting bicycle is legal for use on public roads in every country.

Power levels, maximum assisted speed, throttles, registration, insurance, licensing, helmet requirements and road-use restrictions may vary between jurisdictions.

The customer is responsible for determining whether the selected product and resulting bicycle comply with all laws applicable to them.

High-power conversion systems may be intended for private property, off-road use, competition or other uses where legally permitted.

Customers must not use a converted bicycle on public roads where doing so is unlawful.

6. Safety

Electric bicycle systems and lithium-ion batteries can present significant safety risks.

Customers must:

• use the correct charger;
• use compatible electrical components;
• securely mount batteries;
• inspect electrical connections;
• follow manufacturer instructions;
• stop using damaged batteries;
• keep batteries away from excessive heat;
• avoid short circuits;
• avoid modifying battery protection systems.

A battery that is swollen, leaking, unusually hot, damaged or producing smoke or an unusual smell must not be used.

7. Orders

All orders are subject to product availability.

SRX Ebikes reserves the right to cancel an order where:

• a product is unavailable;
• a pricing or listing error has occurred;
• the destination cannot legally or safely receive the product;
• shipping restrictions prevent fulfilment;
• fraud or payment irregularities are suspected;
• circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent fulfilment.

Where an order is cancelled after payment, the applicable amount paid will be refunded.

8. Prices

Prices are displayed in the currency selected by the customer.

Taxes, VAT, customs duties, import charges or other governmental charges may apply depending on the destination and applicable law.

9. Shipping

Products may be shipped separately.

For example, where an order contains both a motor and a battery, the motor and battery may arrive in separate packages and on different dates.

Shipping options currently include:

Express: approximately 10–15 working days.

Standard: approximately 30–40 working days.

These are estimated delivery periods and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Lithium-ion batteries may be subject to additional transport restrictions.

10. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the SRX Ebikes website, including logos, graphics, text, images, product descriptions and designs, is owned by or licensed to SRX Ebikes or its respective rights holders.

You may not reproduce or commercially use our content without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SRX Ebikes is not responsible for losses resulting from:

• improper installation;
• unauthorised modification;
• misuse;
• incompatible components;
• operation contrary to manufacturer instructions;
• operation in violation of applicable law;
• normal wear and tear;
• accidents caused by improper installation or misuse.

This limitation does not affect mandatory consumer rights.

13. Third-Party Suppliers

SRX Ebikes may use third-party suppliers, manufacturers, fulfilment providers and shipping companies.

This may result in products being shipped directly from Germany or another fulfilment location.

The use of third-party fulfilment does not remove any mandatory consumer rights applicable to purchases from SRX Ebikes.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The Terms applicable to an order are generally those displayed at the time the order is placed, subject to applicable law.
